Retainer Option A
Monthly retainer: $1,500 + GST
Time allocation: Monthly average of 10 hours of strategic thinking and work
Additional project hours if required: at reduced hourly rate of $130
Cost-effective handling of small tasks (no minimum 1-hour charge unit as with ad hoc consulting outside of a retainer contract)

Commitment: 6-month contract with 6-monthly review

Two months notice required in the event of discontinuing

   
Retainer Option B
Monthly retainer: $2,500 + GST

Included hours: Monthly average of 20 hours per week

Additional project hours if required: at reduced hourly rate of $130
Cost-effective handling of small tasks (no minimum 1-hour charge unit as with ad hoc consulting outside of a retainer contract)
Commitment: 6-month contract with 6-monthly review
Two months notice required in the event of discontinuing
 
Ongoing activities under either retainer based package:
Strategic direction of your marketing communications.
Oversight and management of strategy implementation.
Benchmarking and evaluation of current strategies.
Monthly action meetings to review progress of current projects, prioritise upcoming activities and consider emerging goals and needs.
Day-to-day access to independent marketing expertise – use us as a sounding-board for ideas, or to mentor less-experienced staff with marketing responsibilities.
Managing and reporting against budgets for marketing communication activities.

 

Developing project specifications, managing creative and technical inputs, and providing or overseeing the execution of approved creative or technical projects within agreed budgets and timeframes.
Each quarter, the monthly meeting will also include a review of progress against the marketing communications plan and any necessary adjustments to the plan or our program of work.

Option C: Ad hoc consulting (no retainer)
If the retainer-based model does not fit your needs, ad hoc strategic services for marketing communications are available at our regular consulting rate of $150 + GST. For projects with a clearly defined scope we are usually able to provide a fixed project quotation.
